Night Zookeeper writing leagues are proven to increase engagement in writing.
The competitive element encourages children to write both at school and home.

During World Creative Writing Month we saw over 7 million words written,
with 52% of student writing happening at home.

In this new initiative, you can challenge a class to a Night Zookeeper Writing League

Your competitor can come from the room next door or across the globe

Forge links with students all around the world

We facilitate this by utilising services like Skype, Twitter and email.

Want to Know More?

How much does the competition cost?

The competition is free of charge for two weeks. There is then an option to extend your access with a yearly subscription fee, based on the numbers of students you have participating.

Will we be able to connect with our competitors?

We will provide contact details of the teacher you are competing against. Will will also help you to connect on Skype Classroom to share stories with one another.

How will the league work?

The competition will be based on the number of words your students write. These are taken from the work that you publish as their class teacher.
